Stylist and owner of Splendor on 13th Salon in Portland, Oregon, Jena started her career 20 years ago in Tucson, Arizona at the renowned Markley Salon. She’s known for her expertise in hair color and haircuts and specializes in curly and short hairstyles. She has an uncanny ability to thoroughly listen and understand what her clients want, taking in their lifestyle, face shape and energy to create the perfect individual look for each person. Her clients have trusted her for years as she has an unabashed sense of care and responsibility for each one.
Jena is also an avid believer in continuing education having attended courses from top-of-the-line companies such as Kevin.Murphy, Davines, Moroccan Oil, Aveda and Goldwell along with intensive hair cutting and color seminars across the US from Seattle to New Orleans and most currently, London, England.
She fell in love with Portland when traveling through the Pacific Northwest back in 2003 and knew she’d found her new hometown. When she’s not making people’s hair beautiful, she loves to travel, take in live shows and explore the beautiful Northwest with her trusty sidekick cattle dog, Georgia.

Nicolette has always been fascinated by transformations. Growing up in the theatrical community, she watched in amazement as costume and makeup designers transformed actors into their characters with clothing, hair and makeup. In her 16 year career as a stylist, she has tried to infuse that kind of magic into every session with her clients.
Nicolette wants you to feel transformed. Whether that’s expressed through a gentle sun kissed balayage, showcasing your beautiful natural silver, embracing the gorgeous curls you were born with, or finding the cut and color that feels the most like you. Your hair is her canvas. Her goal is to help you express the amazing person you are.

Hallie Eshleman

Hallie was born right here in beautiful Oregon. Watching her mom do hair was her first introduction to the salon industry. Her first job was as a salon receptionist, and then moved to sunny San Diego in 2001 to start her career at the world renowned Gila Rut AVEDA Salon. She worked there for 14 years, starting as an assistant and working her way up to a Master Color Specialist, as well as educating in the color department for several years. One of her favorite parts of working at Gila Rut was being part of the Creative Team and working on exclusive photo shoots. Hallie’s work has been published in magazines such as Estetica, Estetica Italy, Esteticamagazine.com, Beauty Launchpad, Modern Salon, The Colorist Magazine.
Hallie has taken classes with esteemed companies such as Aveda, Kevin Murphy, UNITE, Kerastase, Hattori Hanzo, Elevation H, Seven Haircare, Brazilian Blowout, Keratin Complex, Great Lengths Extensions to name a few She specializes in hair color, womens hair cuts and Great Lengths Extensions. She loves to make her clients feel special from the moment they sit in the chair! Hallie is a great listener and enjoys educating her guests to help them re-create their look at home. She treats her guests like family and truly cares about their time spent together. Her artistic eye, creative edge and unwavering commitment to her guests is what keeps her happy. She can’t wait to share all of that with you!
Kim Graham

Kim started her career as a licensed stylist in 2000. She has trained with top of the line companies such as Aveda, Tigi, Kerastase, Pureology and Wella. As well as attending local classes, Kim has traveled to Seattle, Long Beach, Miami and New Orleans, to stay current on the latest trends and techniques. She specializes in hair color and haircuts and is confident with curly hair, however, she is a versatile stylist who caters to each client’s individual needs. Kim has an easygoing personality and listens to the desires of her clients to ensure they have a truly positive and relaxing experience.
Sandy Hankins

I have been working in the hair industry for over three decades in Portland. I specialize in color corrections and consistently pursue further education, ensuring my clients receive on-trend styles that truly capture their essence. I love big transitions, blonding services, barbering, and last but not least, working with fine hair.
When I'm not in the salon, you can find me hanging out with my pets, trying new restaurants, and seeking sunshine.
Anelisse Johnson

If you’re looking for a stylist who listens, look no further. Anelisse believes the consultation is the most important part of any hair service. She has an eye for color and strives to bring her clients’ hair dreams to reality. Creating balance with her haircuts, she works to make sure you look your best leaving the salon while also making sure you feel comfortable styling the look at home.
She is a Portland native who has been doing hair since 2010. When she’s not at the salon, you can find her with her husband, chasing their daughter around, with their goldendoodle leading the pack.
Connie Lopez
Connie has a long history in the spa and salon industry. Retiring from a 20 year massage therapist career, she has a client care mindset. From scheduling, to answering questions about product, she strives to ensure each of our clients feel welcome and have the best experience possible during their visit. Her mission is to support our stylists while maintaining our beautiful salon. She strives to bring laughter, joy and brightness to each of her coworkers daily.
On her days off, Connie loves to travel and spend quality time with her friends and family.
Kim Reams

Kim is a native Oregonian. She completed cosmetology school here in Portland in 1991. Kim is a third generation hairdresser following in the footsteps of her mother and grandmother. After school, she advanced her education with 2 apprenticeships focusing on hair color.
Kim has continued her education in cutting, color and hair design throughout her career around the US and of course here in our fair city of Portland. There is no hair type that Kim cannot master. Kim enjoys the outdoors, landscape gardening, spending time with 2 dogs and 2 grown boys. She also likes to sew as a hobby and Halloween costumes are her favorite project.
